“Me and my family had an awesome time this weekend. Wedefinately would like to come and do some more evangelism soon. Also, I will be in touch with you about possibly coming to Anderson to hostand outreach day of some sort.” – Sarah

MFPOur former FHL ESL Director, Miranda, had this to say about the FHL Mobile Food Pantry…..

“…Also, the food pantry is not only a ministry to those that we serve but [to] who we are serving with.  I have seen a lot of people become Christians through serving with FHL and seeing what God does.  The interns are very open and I think that God is planting seeds in their life.”

FHL Street Evangelism Director, Bill Lamb had this to say about the FHL Mobile Food Pantry…evangelism

“The FHL Mobile food pantry was held at the intersection of 30th and Central Saturday, September, 26, 2009.  Perhaps 500 people will receive food from this food pantry.  Two people received Christ during the food pantry.  Intercessors prayed for people at the food pantry as well. Believers gathered at UB Cafe  on the two Friday evenings before the food pantry.  Flyers were passed out in the neighborhood.  There was worship, spiritual warfare, unity and love.  Five people were saved on the first Friday night!”

An IUPUI student had this to say about her internship with FHL International, Inc….

“I liked the way that this internship was set up. I am proud of the work that I completed and the experiences that I had; really enjoyed this opportunity to participate in an organization that makes such a difference in the Hispanic community.  I really felt like I contributed and I received some very valuable life experiences in the process.  What an inspirational organization!” – Kara S.  IUPUI Intern

A Pastor with the Cloverleaf Baptist Church had this to say about his experience with with FHL’s Mobile Food Pantry…

I was blown away just being apart of what God was doing!  I saw a spirit of Love that only comes from the Holy Spirit.  I Praise Jesus for the privilege of being with you and the whole family of FHL. I thank God for you. The man that accompanied me Saturday (Feb. 20, 2010) that was an usher gave his life to Christ and will be baptized 3/7/10  I knew you would want to know. -Larry Evans, pastor of Cloverleaf Baptist Church

Bill Lamb, FHL Street Evangelism Director, shares with us  more testimonies…

First, during door to door evangelism in the Michigan and Dearborn area, we met a lady who did not know the Lord and had leg pain of 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.    As the Holy Spirit guided prayer with this precious lady, hope came alive in her.  She began to recognize this was a God encounter.  She gave her life to Jesus and received healing.  Her leg pain went from form 6 to 0.  As I bent my knee to thank the Lord for what He had done, she did the same.  She said before (the the healing) she could not do that.

Thursday evening in the area of 38th and Illinois we met a lady who told us she had COPD.   She told us the pain was 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.  She was a believer inn the Lord and was wiling to receive prayer for healing.  She seemed tense before we prayed.  As we continued to pray with her, her expression began to change and became more relaxed. She began to breather in deeply.  We asked her a couple of times about the level of pain.  By the second time we asked her about the pain, it had gone from 9.5 to 0.  She knew Jesus had healed her!  She became more relaxed and at peace after the healing.
My friends, the more I see the Lord do, the more I want to see Him do.  I love to be present when he transforms lives!
