When I was a little girl my daddy would bring the neighbors together by simply chilling a watermelon in the ice chest and cutting it open in the driveway on a hot summer day! All of the neighbors would come over with their lawn chairs and children and hang out for hours - the adults talking and laughing while the kids played kick-the-can! My daddy was a great example of showing unconditional love. He would pick up their newspapers and mail if they were out of town or other simple acts of kindness. Soon the other neighbors were following suit! When there was a storm coming, the men would get together and help board each others windows. Another family began inviting everyone over to their pool. The ladies began playing bridge, the men playing baseball and the kids hanging out together. These were simple times and it all began with a simple act of kindness!

My husband and I like to share our plants with our neighbors. If someone is passing by and comments on one of them we will transplant one and have it ready for them the next time we see them. It only takes one small act and then another. This year we plan on getting to know more of our neighbors. Acts of unconditional love brings the love of Christ. It gives you opportunities to demonstrate and share His love.

Wow what a week ! After I posted my vision and dream I believe it went forth as a prayer to heaven and God answered quickly. My boss above my boss's husband gets seriously ill and at his young age he was immediately hospitalized and was put on a ventilator or breathing machine. My boss meets me in the hall and I prayed for her and her husband . He gets off the ventilator the same day - yesterday and I find him walking in the halls today ! Praise God ! Not only is that Kingdom advancement but now my bosses both know that where they assign me for the day I take it as a mission trip being sent to someone and I will pray for them , in this case for healing! They think it's great! What about your vision or dream?

I am a RN at the hospital in a critical treatment area . What can the Kingdom of God , or the blessing of God , the dominion of God look like in manifested reality in the work place? I envision a place staffed with Christian compassionate nurses and caring manager. A place were honor and respect is shown. Where we can freely pray and talk to our patients about the Lord, read the bible to them and even lead some to the Lord! A place where we can see patients healed right there on the spot! Where the joy can flow and the peace of God invades the atmosphere. A place that has the best technology , the best MD's the nation has to offer. A BRIGHT and SHINING clean environment . A place full of faith and love of God! To encourage others ,this isn't impossible , much has come to pass ......looking forward to seeing MORE !

the dominion of God would look very interesting in my neighborhood. I live in the 10th and rural area on Woodruff Pl. East Dr. It’s a few blocks of old buildings, insulated / surrounded by poverty stricken communities.

Can you imagine both “neighborhoods” being integrated and sharing the love of God with each other?
Black and White with Rich and Poor exiting together for His kingdom.

How would I do this in my neighborhood? It would be more than being nice to neighbors and helping clean the neighborhood. It would be going door to door (in which Bill Lamb and I have done a couple of years ago), Bible studies and worship time with neighbors would be a start.

It could only be done through us by Him.

We will be people of unity and there will be no differences that we will complain about, differences upon race, religion any type of setting that will make one separate because God brought those things together through His Son. As the Kingdom of God influences our communities, we will see people being treated equal. Things like needs will be going away because the needs of people like for food or sickness will be taken care of by the brother or neighborh that's next to you and we will see the influence of that in such a large way where there will be an end of what's wrong. There will be more justice done in our communities.

In order for the rule of God be evident in my neighborhood would be for the residents to get involved in faith community such as going to church on a regular basis. I think there are very few residents in this area that go to church on a regular basis.

Our neighborhood definitely needs the dominion of God. The people have been overtaken by poverty mind sets, occultic oppression, corruption, etc. It would be nice to have a group come in and pray through the area and then with neighbors and ask if there is anything they need done around there home to improve their quality of life. Also, I believe it would be wise to equip them on how to pray effectively to maintain the dominion of God in our neighborhood and in their own lives. God has already said He is turning Martinsville around for His glory. There have been so many bad things that have happened here with racism, occult etc in the past. There is a mandate for the "reproach" of Martinsville to be divinely turned around. At one time people came from all around the world to the Artesian well springs! How symbolic of the healing waters of God. Martinsville is also the "navel" of the Nation!
My husband and I live in town and Iwe have been given Words from the Lord about the deliverance we would bring to this great City. Our home sits on a spiritual well and people, when they come to our home, are already experiencing deliverance without Jason or I even touching them. All we are doing is worshipping God and the deliverance and healing is manifesting. I would like to take it to the streets of this neighborhood and share Gods glory. A minister by the name of Stan Lovens is interested in doing a tent revival at our house to maximize the spiritual well's potential in the individuals lives in this area. This neighborhood project would be a good way to prepare hearts, to inform of the tent revival, and then also help them maintain the ground they have taken.
Martinsville is on the verge of revival and it will be glorious when it comes. The more darkness...the greater the glory. Please prayerfully consider my neighborhood. It would be very helpful and resourceful to have back up such as yourselves. I've been waiting on God to bring answers on how to approach. You could be my answer to prayer. The people here are hurting. Thank you for considering my entry. ;-)
